Hongjoo leads the Alternative Investment Division at SparkLabs Partners, where he oversees fund structuring and portfolio growth through innovative structured finance. His work reflects a deep commitment to creating new pathways for entrepreneurial success by aligning capital with opportunity.

Within SparkLabs Group, he also serves as CEO of SparkBioLabs, where he is building a biotech startup ecosystem in partnership with leading medical institutions, applying novel capital-raising strategies through real estate investment structures. Beyond this, he contributes to the healthcare data field as a Board Director of the Korea Health Data Research Association, advancing innovation in health and life sciences.

Before SparkLabs, Hongjoo was Head of the Korea Office for a global alternative investment firm, where he pioneered structured finance products that linked real estate investment with the shared-kitchen industry to support startup ecosystems. He also held leadership roles at major asset management firms in Korea and Hong Kong, managing more than KRW 4 trillion in alternative investments and global asset allocation.
