Steve is the co-founder and head of SparkLabs’ regional branch in Gyeongsangbuk-do, a key initiative advancing balanced regional development in Korea. His career has been defined by a vision of using technology and entrepreneurship to create meaningful social impact.

As Head of the Office of University Corporate Relations at Handong Global University, he helped shape Pohang’s startup ecosystem by bringing together industry, academia, and research. He also drew on his background in biotechnology and biomedical engineering to found Noel, Inc., a venture dedicated to solving social challenges through innovation, which he successfully led to IPO.

Earlier in his career, Steve worked in Malawi, Africa, where he directed the development of medical information systems tailored to local needs. This global perspective continues to guide his mission: applying technology and entrepreneurship to empower communities and drive positive change.
